About that 1:1 partner? Hi! That's me. I'm Jennifer, the (humble) human behind the (rad) Content Unicorn name.
With over 18 years of experience in content marketing leadership, I'm thrilled to be able to apply my passion for storytelling and my experience in leading effective, award-winning content to support partners like you!

Approach
Provide a friction-less bridge between the business and creative sides of content marketing. Cool, eye-catching content will get you nowhere if it's not rooted in a strong strategy. Likewise, you can't hit your business goals if your strategically-sound content gets overlooked in cluttered newsfeeds because it's (womp womp) boring or outdated. You need sound content strategy and creative to succeed. Having one "go to" person to do both? Bonus!
Experience
After spending time in both copywriting and content management in the ad agency world with renowned shops like Saatchi & Saatchi and Crispin Porter + Bogusky, I was Director of alllll things social media and digital content at Disney Parks & Resorts. Basically, if it was content on one of the many Disney Parks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or YouTube channels, it was magic from my (dream) team.
At Ruby Tuesday, I led technical CRM and digital content for web, email journeys, social media, mobile app, and loyalty club programs, responsible for gaining over 1.5M new active subscribers and driving over $3.5M in incremental revenue by negotiating and launching the brand's first-ever 3rd party delivery offerings.
Most recently at Holiday Inn Club, I wore multiple hats as Senior Creative Director over all internal and external content, Copy Chief, Head of Multimedia, and (my favorite role) as travel blog Editor in Chief, building a best-in-class digital publication from scratch with 150 rich and diverse stories by 100+ contributors in the first year and driving over 60% traffic via earned SEO clicks and a 153% increase in overall YOY website sessions.
After nearly two decades of leading teams and building brands as a full-time executive, I LOVE providing flexible freelance & expert contract support in this "season of life." My approach with clients is to quickly (but deeply) understand your business challenges and then roll up my sleeves, problem-solve, and nimbly deliver upon needs with a fresh eye, precision, care, and pride.
